Johan Gous was born in the picturesque Namibia.

He successfully obtained his B. Proc degree at the University of Pretoria in 1992.  He is a Director in the Litigation Department and has been with Dyason since serving his articles of clerkship in 1992. He was admitted as an Attorney in 1994. He was appointed as an Associate in 1994 and a Director in 1996 in the Litigation Department.

He has appeared in most divisions of the High Court and has represented clients in the Supreme Court of Appeal as well as the Constitutional Court.  He also has vast experience in appearing before the Appeal Tribunals on behalf of the South African Civil Aviation Authority and various other arbitration matters.  Johan is also a qualified mediator.

He specializes in various areas of the Law but holds 27 years of experience in Third Party Law, General Litigation, Structured Insurance, Insolvency Law and Personal Injuries. He has over time gone on to successfully expand his field of expertise to Tax Law, Aviation Law, Insurance Law, Sports Law and Contractual disputes; acting on behalf of clients such as the South African Revenue Service, South African Civil Aviation Authority and Eskom Holdings SOC LTD.

Johan loves gardening, travelling, watching all sports and making memories with his friends and family.

Qualifications
  • B.Proc (University of Pretoria – 1991).
  • Admitted as an Attorney on the 8th of February 1994.
  • Admitted as an Attorney with Right of Appearance in the High Court on the 13th of March 1997.
  • Court Annexed Mediation (The Mediation Company – 2014).
  • Advance Certificate in Insolvency Litigation & Administration Practice – cum laude (University of Pretoria 2014 – 2015).
  • Certificate in Sports Law – cum laude (University of Pretoria – 2016).

Mervin Capazorio was born in the town of Krugersdorp.  He attended most of his schooling in Pretoria and successfully obtained his B. Proc degree at the University of Port Elizabeth during 1992 and his LLB degree at the same University in 1994.  He is a Director in the Commercial and Conveyancing Department and has been with Dyason since serving his articles of clerkship in 1995.  He was appointed as a Director in 1999.  He was admitted as an Attorney in 1996, a Conveyancer in 1998 and is also an Associate Member of The South African Institute of Intellectual Property Law since 2000.

He specializes in various areas of the Law but holds 24 years of experience in High Court and Magistrates Court Litigation matters, Conveyancing, Commercial Law, Trade Marks, Design Law, Contractual Law, Competition Law, Company / Corporate Law.

He has appeared in most divisions of the High Court and has represented clients in the Supreme Court of Appeal, Constitutional Court and Competition Commission. He has also represented client in the High Court of Nambia.

Mervin spends his free time racing pigeons, farming Bonsmaras and creating memories with his family and friends.

  • Admitted as an Attorney with Right of Appearance in the High Court on the 8th of March 1996. 
  • Admitted as a Conveyancer on the 17th of February 1998.
  • Associate Member (The South African Institute of Intellectual Property Law – 2000).

Sharon Singh was born and raised in the sunny city of Durban. 

She successfully obtained her BA (Law) in 1994 and her LLB in 1996 both from the University of Durban Westville, KZN.  She was admitted as an Attorney in 1999. She is currently a Director in the Family and Labour Law Department and has been with Dyason since her appointment as a Professional Assistant in 2008. She was appointed as a Director in 2010 and has served as the Human Resources Director for a number of years. She is a registered Mediator with the Department of Justice.  

Her passion for Family Law has had her specialising in all areas of this field over the past two decades. She holds 22 years of experience and over time has extended her specialised fields of law and practice to include Administrative Law, General Litigation and Labour Law.  

Sharon loves to travel and meet new people. She devotes her attention to her family and friends in her free time.

  • Court Annexed Mediation (The Mediation Company 2012 & 2014).
  • Advanced Labour Law Certificate (University of Pretoria – 2020).

Amanda Rossouw was born and raised in the bustling city of Pretoria. 

She successfully obtained her LLB degree, cum laude, at the University of Pretoria in 2016.  She is a Director in the Conveyancing Department and has been with Dyason since her appointment as an Associate in 2019. She was appointed as a Director in 2021.  She practices as an admitted Attorney, Notary Public and a Conveyancer since 2018.

She is a skilled Conveyancer within the field of Property Law with a strong focus on mortgage bond registrations and property transfers.

Amanda spends her free time travelling and spending time with her family.  She is inspired by the following quotes:

Werner Cilliers was born and raised in Blue Bulls country, Pretoria.

He successfully obtained his Bachelor of Commerce in Law at the University of Pretoria in 2015 and his LLB in 2017.  He is a Director in the Commercial Law and Litigation Department and has been with Dyason since serving his articles of clerkship in 2017. He was appointed as a Director in 2021.  He was admitted as an Attorney in 2018 and has been an Associate Member of The South African Institute of Intellectual Property Law since 2020.

He specializes in Commercial Law, Commercial Litigation, Trade Marks, Copyright and IP Litigation.

Werner loves to watch sports and to spend time in the outdoors with his friends and family.

Cindy Horn was born and raised in the beautiful Jacaranda City, Pretoria.

She successfully completed her LLB degree in 2012 at the University of Pretoria and graduated on the 18th of April 2013.

She is a Director in the Litigation Department and has been with Dyason since her appointment as a Candidate Attorney in 2013.  She was admitted as an Attorney of the High Court of South Africa on the 10th of December 2015.  She obtained her Right of Appearance in the High Court and has gone on to personally appear in the High Court many times throughout her professional career.  She was appointed as a Director in 2022.

She specialises in various areas of the law and has extensive experience in general litigation, dispute resolution, personal injury and medical malpractice.

Over the years she has expanded her fields of expertise to include tax law, aviation law, insurance law and contract law, acting on behalf of high profile clients such as the South African Revenue Service, Eskom Holdings SOC Limited and the South African Civil Aviation Authority. 

She primarily focuses on general High Court litigation and tax related matters.  She has been involved in various tax inquiries, appeals, review applications, objections and payment deferral arrangements on behalf of the South African Revenue Service.

Cindy spends her free time with her loved ones, friends and Border Collie.  She particularly enjoys outdoor activities, art and poetry.

Thato Bopape was born and brought up in the beautiful city of Pretoria.  

She successfully obtained her LLB at the University of South Africa in 2019 and joined the firm as a candidate attorney in the same year.  Thato was admitted as an Attorney in November 2021 after she completed all the necessary requirements to be an admitted attorney.  She is a Director in the Family and Labour Law Department.

She is passionate about the ideals of family and humanity. She is very confident in her judgment and decisions, and believes that with knowledge comes great responsibility to advance the next person.

Thato spends her free time traveling and reading.

Mariandré Williams was born and raised in the small town of Upington in the Northern Cape.

She successfully obtained her LLB at the University of the Free State in 2020. She joined Dyason in 2022 as a Candidate Attorney in the Personal Injury and Litigation Department.

Mariandré spends her free time watching sport, spending time with loved ones and learning and experiencing new things.

Her personal motto is nothing is ever a failure, only a lesson. She always thrives to grow and equip herself with all that is necessary and is committed to making a success of her career in the law profession.

Faith Ndlovu was born and brought up in the tranquil town of Hazyview in Mpumalanga. 

She successfully obtained her LLB at the University of South Africa in 2020.  She has been a Candidate Attorney in the Personal Injury and Litigation Department since 2020.

Faith spends her free time reading.

Faith’s personal motto is striving for excellence.  She always encourages herself to strive for excellence, and tries to hold herself at a higher standard than what is expected of her.
